The price of cars

Source

As a child I remember seeing two of these in a car showroom window. I always wanted one in a vague, yearning for the moon sense.

There's a small open-decker bus in the show room of a garage a few miles from here.

It's exquisite, and used to be paraded around the shows.

I agree that a pedal car was the epitome of kid-hood, and as my electric bike is now just over a year old, I'm happy and satisfied that I have all I ever wanted as a small boy...

The 1950's? That's modern, now the 1930's.....

Wiggia - it's an amazing market. I've seen rusting wrecks which only seem fit for the tip priced at hundreds of pounds. Obviously being sold as projects, but many hours of work would be required to bring them up to the standard in your link.

Scrobs - in the past buses were far more interesting than they are now. Hot competition between a large number of different bus companies seemed to ensure that, but the car killed it off.

James - the urge has gone unfortunately.

Demetrius - ah the thirties...
